This is not a tool for beginners unless you are willing to use this tool over and over until you understand how it works. It takes time, and experience to get the feel for how this tool works. Using this tool correctly means that you are submitting to sites that are comparable or related in subject and/or business.

2. Browse through the directory for related material by reading the descriptions, titles, and ranking/traffic information. Only submit to sites that are related to your site. Watch the Alexa rankings for signs of the amount of traffic each site is getting. Look to see how many blog reactions there are for each entry to figure out if there is a "buzz" around the site. Click on the more information tab and view the top 8 backlinks and past traffic patterns. You want to submit for backlinking to relevant sites that are low in the Alexa rank (High Traffic), with reputable top backlinks, and a site with a high amount of blog reactions.
2a. Alternatively you can use our SQL search engine by entering the type of business followed by any of the following; add url, suggest a site, submit a site, submit your site. Example: "Real Estate Add Url"
3. When you have found a satisfactory entry click on the title of the entry to goto that specific page. When the page comes up, check your Google Tool Bar for Page Rank info. The higher the PR the better. Also check your Alexa Tool Bar for traffic info to confirm the results we display as you browse our directory. If the PR is high, and the Alexa is low, you've got a winner. Submit!
4. Now the fun begins. You must find where at on each page where they want you to submit your website information. This can be as simple as a form, or as difficult as having to read the page and follow specific instructions.
5. After you finalize your submission with the third party, close out their windows and return to therankdirectory.com window still present (If enabled on your browser)
6. Repeat steps 2-5 until satisfied. There's 800 pages to go through, this will take about 6 months of constant use until you finish.
7. After you have submitted, be sure to follow up on any 3rd party instructions that involve placing links on your site. Do this promptly if they require it.
8. Wait for the search engines and domain checkers to register this backlink. This can take up to 3-4 weeks depending on the promptness of the 3rd party submitted to; and the current time it's taking the search engines and domain checkers to register the material.
Part Two! Blogspot Traffic and Link Building
Did you know that most blogspot links are at least pr4 or pr5!? This can dramatically increase your PR if you pick relevant blogs to link to. This is how you can use the blog category to maximize your backlink results. It's best to do this after completing the above 2000+ Free Backlinks system.

2.Surf for the blog that is relevant to yours, and fits your wanted statistical preference. I personally like low alexa rank, high PR-inboundlink-blog buzz counts.
3. Use the "FIND" feature of your browser, and search for the word "comment". This will help you locate where to place your comment.
4. Placing your comment will require a non spammy response, so post something relevant to topic and then your URL wherever possible.
5. Repeat until done. If you complete both the backlink and the blog systems, you should have somewhere around 3,000-4,000 quality backlinks.
Additional Help
When going to the 2,000 backlinks, these are websites that allow you to submit your website to them in a similar fashion to how you submitted to therankdirectory. You want to look for anything that says "ADD URL" or "SUGGEST A SITE", or even sometimes "Your website here". Sometimes before clicking "Add URL, Suggest a site, or your website here" you may be required to browse to the category you want your link placed before actually clicking the add url, suggest a site, or similar but worded differently.
Some of the websites that are in the 2000 backlinks you have to pay for, and some you have to give them a link on your page to their website in order to have your website submitted. (This is referred to as reciprical linking)Most of them are free, and do not require you to place a link on your website. I find that the best way is to try and go through as many as possible, and the ones that are not easy to submit just skip it and try the next one. More than likely the next one will be easier. Some of the difficult ones require the above mentioned browsing to your selected category, or even payment and "reciprical linking". This will take practice and after a few entries you will get the hang of it.
The 2000+ blogs are "blogging" websites where you can go and post comments. You can post comments by signing up for the particular blog account (blogspot or wordpress). Blogs are created by people just like you and me, who want to relay a message. These blogs are often places that your potential visitors will reside. If you select blogs that are the slightest relevant to your website, you will draw traffic and potential sales from them. Use the same statistical determining factors below for the blogs as you would the backlinks. A quick way to find where to place comments on each blog is to use the FIND feature of your internet browser by pressing CTRL+F and then typing "comment" into the search field. When you search for the comment, it will highlight on the web page where it finds the text "comment". Sometimes the "comment" is part of the article, and sometimes the comment text is actually the link to place a comment. You will need to watch it closely and when you find a link to "Place a comment" "post a comment" etc, click it. This will take practice but after a few you'll get the hang of it.
As you work your way through the 2000+ backlinks and 2,000+ blogs, you will find that your traffic will increase. To help you acclerate this, you should first scan through the entire directory and submit to the following types of sites:
PR1-10 which is the orange PR little box on the bottom above the tabs for "more info, comments, etc"... There is a green bar next to the PR and when that bar is full, you will have the highest chance of creating success for your websites. This number represents the quality factor. The higher the number, the higher quality of website it is.
The blue box on the right hand side, just above the PR above mentioned, is the alexa traffic ranking and inbound link count. The alexa traffic ranking is the first set of numbers at the top of the blue box, which are larger and in bold. It will read "Rank: Some number" and underneath that it will read "Links In: Some number". The LOWER the rank number, the better. This ranking number is #1 (Website with the most traffic) all the way to #100,000,000(Least Traffic) The HIGHER the Links In number, the better. This number represents the number of other websites linking to that particular website.
If the website is being talked about in blogs or forums, there will be a green number that will be displayed with each entry. The HIGHER this green number the better. It will be labeled , "Some Number" and below that it will say Technorati. This number represents how many blogs or forums are "talking" about that particular website. The more chatter, the more likely you'll draw traffic.
There's over 6,000 websites total, so get started! It may seem overwhelming, but even just a few at a time can make a difference. If you want the greatest impact, do as many as humanly possible. I have a horrible sleep schedule because I still use it to this day, to the maximum. I sleep about 5 hours per day because this works so well! More effort, more potential for money, resulting in increased website value, higher traffic amounts, and if you are selling or promoting anything, increased profits.
